MB-79N. Thermally insulated window and door system


The MB-79N system is Aluprof's latest, cost-effective, high-performance solution for thermally insulated windows and doors, designed to meet modern thermal standards for both energy efficiency and budget-conscious projects. Suitable for a variety of applications—such as fixed, tilt, turn, tilt-and-slide windows, as well as single/double exterior doors and storefronts—this versatile system offers multiple configurations to meet specific insulation needs.

Key Performance Specifications:


 • Thermal Insulation (Uf): From 0.83 W/(m²K).

 • Thermal Insulation (Uw): From 0.64 W/(m²K).

 • Watertightness (Window): Up to class E 1950.

 • Airtightness: Class 4 (EN 12207:2001).

Design and Variants:


 • Profile Depth: 79 mm for window vents and 70 mm for frames and door panels.

 • Thermal Variants:

  1. MB-79N E: Budget-friendly with a one-component central seal.

  2. MB-79N ST: Enhanced with a two-component central seal.

  3. MB-79N SI: High-performance variant with insulating inserts and two-component seals.

  4. MB-79N SI+ (doors only): Highest insulation with a central seal and insulating inserts.


Functional and Aesthetic Features:


 • Insulation and Sealing: Incorporates thermal breaks with innovative materials and central seals for optimized thermal performance.

 • Glass Compatibility: Supports double and triple glazing up to 63 mm for windows and up to 54 mm for doors, allowing for options like acoustic or burglary-resistant glass.

 • Security: Compatible with RC1 to RC3 burglary-resistant doors, with options for automation and access control.

 • Hinge and Hardware Options: Allows concealed hinges and popular multi-point hardware, including AluPilot fittings.

 • Aesthetic Flexibility: Offers a range of handle styles, including minimalist options with or without rosettes, plus options for paneled front doors.


Durability:


The MB-79N system has passed rigorous hurricane testing under ASTM guidelines and the Florida Building Code, ensuring robust performance in extreme weather conditions.
